Welcome!

The origins of my active dog-breeding date back to 1998, when I received a long-desired Bernese Mountain Dog bitch as a gift.

Ch. Cita Jazar The origins of my active dog-breeding date back to 1998, when I received a long-desired Bernese Mountain Dog bitch as a gift. The birth of the first litter in 2000 marked the beginning of my own kennel, Čierna hviezda.

Rising numbers of cancer spreading around eventually brought me to the decision to cancel my breeding activities among the supporters of Bernese Mountain Dogs. The birth of the first litter in 2000 marked the beginning of my own kennel, Čierna hviezda.

Besides Bernese Mountain Dogs, I was lucky enough to own a puppy of the Puli dog breed. If you’re familiar with the breed, you know that the shaggy corded coat reaching the ground contains a confident and proud soul of a herding dog that requires consistent training. Ch. Gémeskút Abruzs was imported from Hungary in 2006. He accompanied us for 17 long years and today he lives only in our memories.

Besides dog breeding, I devote a rather significant portion of my time to other activities as well. In 2002 I became a member of the Committee of SKŠSP – Slovak Club of Swiss Mountain Dogs. 2005 till 2010 I was acting President of SKŠSP. After a five-year break, I accepted the challenge and since 2015, I have been the head of a group of Landseer supporters united in the Slovak Landseer Club. Organising dog shows, evaluations, litter inspections, attending international dog breeding symposia – all that has become a part of my life. And there’s still more.

My family and time spent together definitely remain a priority in my life. I only attend dog shows after thorough consideration. That’s why you’re more likely to find us at home or walking outside on the weekends. But we are thrilled to show you how amazing it is to live with our dogs. We are happy to welcome each and every visitor – a virtual or a personal one.
